Fashion photographer and America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker had a presentation on Sunday night at the MGM arena about his shooting style. He also had a life presentation on the stage with people from the audience. The presentation was followed by a fashion show.
We had a great time! I had my picture taken with him by my friend, Laszlo Rathonyi, after his presentation. He is such a classy, down to earth person. Thank you for sharing part of your knowledge with us!:-)

WPPI 2011

What a week! WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) convention this year brought 17.000 photographers from all around the world to the MGM Las Vegas for a week long of classes, tradeshows and events. GIANT conference for photographers, what is happening once a year with amazing lectures, trade show and parties every night. The focus is on relationships! It was great chatting with old friends, meet new fabulous people and learn about their experiences, or just chat with them. I am exhausted though!

I am inspired and refreshed by some of the world’s leading photographers and creative artists from all around the word. I am just so thankful to work in an industry of such amazing people!

I am also excited; I find a new album company, actually two for our high end albums. We will be adding new books to our album collection soon! They have really cool paper surface and a big selection of stylish album covers.

Luxe textured fabrics will bring a sumptuous, opulent vibe to 2011 weddings. Wedding dresses will feature 3D applique, layered light fabrics (tulle, lace, chiffon), romantic ruffles, oversized florals, and illusion fabric with eye-catching beading. Textured linens will be layered to dress up reception tables, chair covers may be embroidered or beaded, and branchy centerpieces and floral arrangements will captivate wedding guests.

The green weddings movement continues full speed ahead in 2011. Bow ties will replace classic long neck ties, and embroidered dress shirts, engraved cufflinks, stylish lapel pins and the color of the season- grey- will grace the white aisles.
