Beijing Olympics Games 2008 - Hungarian Gold Medalists

Let me dedicate a couple of words on my Blog for the Hungarian Heroes from the Beijing Olympics Games 2008. Small country with a lot of talented people!

The Gold medal in men’s Water Polo goes to Hungary again on the Olympics game, the third time in a raw! Hungary became the first country to win three straight gold medals in the sport since Britain in 1920. Yes, the world's top Water Polo team topped everyone again! The Hungarian guys defeated the United States 14-10 in the final.

"They've been together for 15, 16 years, since they were little kids," Moses said. "That team has stuck together and played together, and water polo in Hungary is like the NBA back home. That's their bread-and-butter sport and you can see that. They play a great game."

The winning team: Benedek Tibor, Biros Péter, Gergely István, Hosnyánszky Norbert, Kásás Tamás, Kis Gábor, Kiss Gergely, Madaras Norbert, Molnár Tamás, Szécsi Zoltán, Varga Dániel, Varga Dénes, Varga Tamás , coach Denes Kemeny

This was the third gold medal (also 5 silver and 2 on the Olympics game in Beijing for Hungary). The first gold medal of the 2008 Games went to Attila Vajda. He won the Men’s Flat-water 1000-meter Canoe singles 1000-meter gold with timing of 3:50.467 minutes.

The second Gold went to Natasa Janics and Katalin Kovacs in Kayak Doubles (K2) 500m.

I do not want to forgot about Laszlo Cseh who has won three silver medals for Hungary in the Beijing Olympic Games, finishing behind 8 gold me1dal-winner U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps every time.
Men's 200m Individual Medley (1:56.52 –European record )
Men's 200m Butterfly (1:52.70)
Men's 400m Individual Medley (4:06.16)

"I always try, always go for the win, of course, but the reality is that at the moment he is unbeatable," Cseh told Reuters.

Unfortunately I wasn’t there to take pictures this year, but maybe on the next Olimpics games…
